Re: Psoriasis
Hi slbaxter
Your will need a dermatologist to answer about psoriasis, but with regards to the hayfever you need to ensure that your husband is taking simple precautions such as washing his face and hair on high pollen days, not drying his clothes outside in the summer (as pollen blows through it). Also newer antihistamines such as Ceitirizine or Loratadine daily will help and if need be a nose spray and eye drops should be used regularly as well. It is important that you get training in how to use a nose spray correctly. All hay fever medication works best when used regularly from a couple of weeks before his season starts right up until the end. They don't work terribly well when taken here and there.
Hope that helps

Re: Psoriasis
Thank you for your question. For psoriasis if it is mild regular emollients e.g. cetrabene cream or imuderm cream. For more extensive or resistant psoriasis GP can prescribe enstlar foam for body, Daktacort for face and skin fold areas and Enstilar for Scalp. UVB phototherapy is available in hospital and blue light LED over counter from Philips. There are also powerful medicines and injections available from a dermatologist if required. If it is of interest you can read more about psoriasis treatments available on my website: http://www.alexandroff.org.uk
I hope this is helpful.
