Kidney twinges

Hello,

I have fibromyalgia and take many medications for it and have done for the past few years. I’ve noticed recently that I’ve been getting twinges in my kidney area which concern me slightly. What is the best way of getting the health of my kidneys tested.

I am so sorry to hear how you are suffering. Kidney health can be readily assessed at your GP surgery with a simple urine and blood test. If these are normal then your kidneys are fine - clearly if these prove abnormal your GP can then advise how to explore the situation further. Hope that helps
