I have a neuropathically over active bladder.Can you tell me if the kidneys' functions are also affected?

That is certainly a risk in certain types of neuropathic bladders. You should ensure you have had a kidney ultrasound to check that the kidneys are not effected. I am sure your local urologist or your GP would want to arrange this for you.
