Kidney stones
My husband has stones in both his kidneys. Lithotripsy not successful. Are there any dietary adjustment that might help? Many thanks

Re: Kidney stones
That is a really good question and surprisingly difficult to answer. Once stones are established only stones made of uric acid can be altered by dietary factors. The vast majority of stones cannot be dissolved by dietary manipulation. However once the stones are removed then dietary modification can help reduce the risk of further stones in some patients provided this is combined with increasing the fluid intake https://www.baus.org.uk/_userfiles/page ... 20diet.pdf
