What effect do vitamins/minerals/supplements have on the kidneys? What is good for the kidneys, what should be avoided?

Hi there,
the best thing for your kidneys is plenty of fluid to ensure they are well hydrated. Supplements etc do not effect kidney function and shouldn't do any harm assuming that you have healthy kidneys in the first place!
