Hi I have been prescribed Rozex gel which does nothing at all to help or ease the symptoms any other suggestions to use

Thank you for your question.

The treatment for Rosacea partially depends on the type of rosacea you suffer from. If you have nodules, papules (lumps) or pustules then certain topical treatments or oral antibiotics will help. These are listed below.

1. Ivermectin cream for daily use.
2. Finacea or Skinoren cream- these are azelaic acid creams known to help.
3. Oral antibiotics - Such as lymecycline for a few months may also help.

High factor sun block and also avoidance of trigger factors of course are vital to prevent flare ups.

Often you will need to find the right combination of treatments which can be a trial and error process.
