Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation are giving away FREE Diabetes Awareness Necklaces and Diabetes Check-up Cards.
The site encourages anyone with diabetes, especially those prone to experiencing hypoglycaemia, to wear or carry this type of identification.
These necklaces can be worn discreetly under clothing and are designed to alert anyone providing medical assistance that you are diabetic. This could help speed up your treatment and could be the difference between life and death.
The charity is able to offer these for free, but they do send out high volumes of these necklaces each year, so ask that you send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the value of £1.01 to cover the postal costs, or make a minimum donation of £2.
To request your necklace please send your stamped addressed envelope to: FREE Necklace Request, DRWF, Building 6000, Langstone Technolgy Park, Havant, Hampshire, PO9 1SA.
Follow the link now for more information and to claim your free necklace and cards.
