Many adults will experience dry skin at some point in their life. Dry skin can occur for various reasons and can be extremely uncomfortable and even unbearable at times.
Some of the topics the programme covers include:
- Symptoms & treatments
- What to ask your GP or consultant
- Patient stories and hints & tips
- Common triggers & irritants
- Itch-scratch cycle
- Emotional impact and much more!
It's a very thorough program with lots of great advice and tips.
Great advice, well put together & presented. Easy to read & plenty of opportunities to ask the experts as well.
This program is something everyone should have access to from the very start of their dry skin journey. It gives more detailed ways to use the prescription creams to get the most benefit right from the first day of use. It provides the different types of treatment you can use to treat the symptoms of dry skin, this means you can go to your GP armed with information to direct your treatment. GP's don't have the time to talk in detail about the various treatments available. It gives you the knowledge to discuss with your doctor the best treatments for you and your lifestyle. The real-life stories give you a feeling of not being alone with this issue. I would recommend this support program without reservation.
Having done this programme for the 10 weeks I found it to be extremely useful and very informative, it has given many different insights on how to take care of problem skin, the tips and information that can be researched is of great use. It has been a different way to take care of your skin.
Great support and advice.
I was having bad dry skin on my hands. My skin was so dry that blood was always there and an infection. This program give me my life back.
Really useful for lots of dry skin conditions, support if you need it and info about the types of treatment. Definitely worth signing up to. I have found out more from the program than my GP who doesn't seem to care about my dry skin as I have several medical conditions.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who is struggling with their skin, I didn't even know this existed and the fact it does is a green light from me. I've read in my own time lots of helpful information and advise and can honestly say so pleased I used this, so go sign up!
I have always tried to research myself and this helped me realise that what I have been doing is correct. I do sometimes miss out putting lotion/cream on my skin but now I do it more regularly. The skin is a lot less itchy and in some places, it has disappeared. Most importantly I ensure I follow as healthy a diet as possible with plenty of fruit and veg and drink lots of water. I look for products that suit my needs and where possible get samples to test.
I think the mydryskin support is informative and helpful. Give it a go.
I really appreciate the useful tips I can follow to improve my condition.
I have sensitive and dry skin with roseacea. I found the support programme via mydryskin very useful to help with what can trigger it and helpful tips.
I was glad to sign up for the dry skin support programme. On a weekly basis, I got new information about dry skin, with different subjects. Explained in an easy manner and reader-friendly download. I had a huge difference in regards to a skincare routine and what to avoid for my dry skin (skin irritants ). I was so clueless about how and what to do on a daily basis. With the lockdown, I wasn't able to go to the GP. Thanks to the support program it guided me a lot and my family members found it beneficial too. Simple notes to remember and follow. I'm really so happy, and so is my skin.
I was able to find all the information needed quickly and from trustful people.
I would recommend this programme to anyone suffering with dry skin conditions. I thought I already knew a lot about dry skin but the weekly manageable emails were comprehensive and gave further information sources. I now feel much more comfortable and confident in being able to deal with and manage my dry skin and know what questions to ask healthcare professionals if needed. Definitely recommended!
