mysleep support programme

mysleep provides 12 weeks of dedicated support, sent to you by email in bite-size chunks. Every week there is a PDF for you to download or print containing practical information about all things relating to hair loss, written by talkhealth and medical experts.

Sleep is so important to our health, and we all appreciate the value of a good night’s sleep. Insomnia is the inability or difficulty in falling asleep or staying asleep for a long enough time to wake up feeling rested.

Sleep issues can affect anyone, with 1 in every 3 people in the UK living with sleep issues such as disturbed sleep or insomnia. Many of these sleep issues can be short term, due to stress, illness or environmental and lifestyle factors.

Some of the topics the programme covers include:

  • Children’s sleep
  • Snoring
  • Diet and Exercise
  • Sleep environments and routines

the mysleep programme was really well planned and designed. It was good that so many different factors that contribute to good (or poor) sleep were highlighted and addressed with practical, achievable, positive suggestions and solutions. The programme was delivered in manageable amounts of information. Excellent, and thoroughly recommended!

Don’t take sleep for granted, we all need sleep to help to live. When I started the program I learned such a lot, some things needed practice or should I say relaxation, but you can do it and it’s wonderful, peace and tranquility.

Being on the sleep support programme made me realise it was time I considered doing something about my lack of sleep and the way it was affecting my life. So many areas were covered not all appropriate to myself but would be to others. I would highly recommend anyone having difficulty sleeping to look at this programme.

To take things slowly and not to expect miracles because if you follow the sleep program you will definitely find a link between your sleeping issues. At first you think you are alone and the only person who suffered but gradually you begin to realise that there are many support networks that will make you feel welcomed and begin to face your problems with open eyes, not everyone is the same and using a mixture of different help techniques then you should be able to find resources that are free to access and that the networking is made up of many people with similar symptoms. I’m still using different methods to see if I can make greater enhancements to my sleeping problems.

It's a great programme for people with sleep issues or if they want to help somebody who has them. So much great information and a lot you can do to help yourself. I have changed my preparation for sleep, my lighting in a room and it really helped. It's a great programme for anyone.

The weekly sheets of information helped me out with tips and to take time out to relax before going to bed. To turn off all mobile phones and tablets 30 minutes before getting into bed, and to stop the blue light as not good.

Sleep support was fantastic as it showed me different things I was totally unaware of and honestly feel that my GP would not have given me this information. Things I've never thought of as interfering with my sleep were covered, greatly improving my sleep.

What an amazing programme that I am so greatful for. For over a decade I have struggled with sleep and rest. I always put it down to stress and mental health, so thought that unless I solve these issues I wouldn't be able to improve me sleep.  But that's where I was so wrong. The programme has change my life. I am finally learning how best to rest and all the advice and tips have been amazing. Thank you so much to talkhealth for providing this information. Would highly recommend to everyone as it covers so many different categories. Brilliant and thank you again.

Thanks to the great information in the course, I went to see my Doctor regarding snoring and restless legs and arms. When asleep and he referred me to the sleep clinic.

I have now been diagnosed with Sleep Apnoea, which I hadn’t ever heard off until this course and am awaiting a CPCP machine. This pumps air into me to stop my airways being blocked.

My wife is looking forward to the quiet (well semi as the machine does make some noise) night, without having to wear ear plugs, and I’m looking forward to a proper nights sleep and less headaches and more energy apparently, if the treatment works.

Thank you TalkHealth, I could have gone years (It already has been 10-15 years?) without knowing about this condition and its effects. Hopefully now, I’ll have a better life after a good nights sleep.
