VIDEO: TH+ Expert Webinar with Linda Jones, Salus Fatigue Foundation

Tired of feeling tired? Aren’t we all? If you missed our webinar with the brilliant Linda Jones, CEO of Salus Fatigue Foundation, here's your chance to watch, bookmark and take notes!

Linda chatted to us all about managing chronic fatigue - from eating for energy, mental health support and the difference between general tiredness and clinical fatigue.

Watch the Webinar:

In our fast-paced society, we almost fetishise feeling knackered and overly busy - without stopping to wonder whether it’s normal and healthy to be so. One in six Brits sleeps under six hours a night, with only 22% of us getting the recommended eight hours. That’s just one part of the tiredness issue.

To unlock why else we might be struggling to stay alert, we hosted a webinar on understanding fatigue. Around 260,000 people in the UK live with chronic fatigue and another 2 million of us have a chronic condition which may count fatigue as one of its symptoms.

We were super lucky to be joined by Linda Jones from the Salus Fatigue Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that seeks to help people living with fatigue-related conditions. Her foundation has helped over 15,000 people over the past decade get to grips with their fatigue - whatever it’s caused by. Her work isn’t about providing a ‘cure’; it’s simply about helping people to manage their symptoms and take the positive steps towards better self-management.

The webinar covered:

  • The difference between fatigue and general tiredness
  • How to self-manage fatigue
  • Tips for improving well-being with fatigue
  • How to eat for fatigue
  • Menopause and fatigue
