Hey guys!

So sorry my blogging has been a rare occurance lately, college stress has been weighing down on me quite a bit and my parents went away for a few days so I had to look after the house and did not realise how much cleaning was involved! But things have cooled down a lot now and I have a week off so I’m glad to be back 🙂

At the moment my skin is a bit blotchy and agitated but I had a friend over while my parents were gone and stayed up way later than usual so I think with that and the added stress I’ve been having lately my skin just wants me to know that I have to take care of myself! I’ve stopped using the protopic, unfortunately after using it a few times it made my skin go quite red and really agitated so I’m back onto the steroids 🙁 but I’m still managing to go a few days without using steroids on my face at a time and my skin doesn’t flare up. My legs are okay, a bit itchy and there are still scars all over them but they are not red and raw as they have been before, just dry and itchy. My arms are a bit bad lately so I’ve started using a strong steroid every other day but I’ll stop that soon 🙂

As for my diet, it has had a bit of a rocky few days but I’ve been eating a LOT of vegetables to help cleanse my system out a bit; hence the title (I’ve been walking around the house munching on carrots, odd but delicious). My mum is trying something new tonight: stew. I LOVE stew and have since my mum started making it a few years ago and she’s recently found a bunch of things that I can eat so she can make one 🙂 and I’ve also been eating more steak lately to try and get my body to get used to it, and I’m really trying to find some more meats I could eat raw but a lot of them are too dangerous to eat raw, or just generally taste disgusting!

What I’m really finding lately is that when my skin does get a bit bad (NO where near as bad as it used to get) I don’t get as upset as I used to, I just think that my skin will heal and I just have to cope with it until then, which is good!

Hope everyone is doing good, I love hearing your feedback!

Bye guys

Hey, my name is Brooke. Basically, I have this blog so I can talk about eczema. I have suffered with eczema all my life, and when I turned 13 it flared up for no apparent reason, and has remained basically the same. So on here I will hopefully be blogging everyday explaining new things I am using to try and fight eczema, and hopefully I will overcome it. Happy blogging!
