Re: is cancer back?
I can understand your worries- and I would suggest you get in touch with the CNS - the Nurse Specialist with the Team who looked after you and she should arrange an appointment for you to see your Consultant. He/she would want to know of any ongoing problems anyway. I suspect all is fine but best yo...

Re: How is cervix cancer diagnsis
sometimes the cells on the tissue samples can be difficult to interpret or there is 'burn' effect from the loop, and I suspect that the next loop is to try and clarify matters. I agree that the pain/bleeding you had on holidays were most likely due to the Loop. Smears were really used to pick up the...

Re: CGIN and LLETZ under general anaesthetic
will try and answer some at least .. Re: Longer lasting periods
I cannot explain the leg pains. The prolonged period is generally due to hormones - i.e. it may well be age related.
I would not act on a single prolonged period as you describe but if this repeats itself you may need a checkup

Re: Searing stingy pain
May be a lot of possible reasons - have you tried some lubricants to see if this helps ?
Another may be a reaction to a condom.

Re: Dermoid cyst
Yes indeed - you could have the outside looking normal and a small dermoid inside - the difficulty would be trying to remove it without damaging or indeed removing all the ovary

Re: Lower right sided pain
Its sounds like ovulation pains alriht. The ovary on the right does tend to cause more pains than that on the left, a theory that the lie of the bowel in the left keeps the ovary away from that nerve. It does not mean that you are not ovulating on the left side, though in reality that does not matte...

Re: Pelvic floor after childbirth
Most would say it takes about 3 months at least before you are back to normal - but this sounds a bit like a normal situation after having a birth

I am sure there is nothing to worry about - this can happen though normally when its first inserted.
As you are over 45 years - it would be recommended that you see your Doctor as he/she may well want to refer you to have a scan/or the lining of the womb checked
