Re: pain on intercourse and bleeding
My best advice is to see your GP. It is not really possible to tell what is going on here without a full consultation.

Re: painful periods, uterus and constipation
It's not really possible to give you an individual diagnosis without a full consultation. This is obviously worrying for you and the best thing would be for you to go back and see your GP.

Re: Level 3 CIN and 6 months after a loop treatment (colposc
It is very unusual for CIN 1,2 or 3 to cause irregular periods, so I suspect the two things are not related. Both treatment for abnormal smears and irregular periods are very common, so quite a lot of people will have both, even though they are not related. You should be called for a smear 6 months ...

Re: CIN has returned after LLETZ - what's my risk of cancer?
I will try and answer you questions: 1. What are my chances of this becoming cervical cancer if LLETZ didn't work and I'm still having abnormalities? The risk of getting cervical cancer after LLTZ is about 1.5%. This is an overall figure and I can't give you a precise figure for your situation. It i...

Re: PCOS help
From what you say, it sounds like the GP is right to say you should avoid taking the combined oral contraceptive pill. There are many alternatives available and the best thing you could do is probably go to a family planning for some expert advice. The Family Planning Website has a "find a clin...

Re: progesterone levels and PCOS
Unfortunately, this is not my area of expertise, but my understanding is that the progesterone levels are a reflection of what is going on in your body. Normal levels are a good sign that things are working, but I think that trying raising them using cream is unlikely to have any real benefit. Unfor...

Re: Searing stingy pain
The other really common thing is to be very sensitive to detergents. Detergents are in all soaps, even simple soap, bubble bath and shower gel. Using a really bland emollient for washing and as a soap substitute may help, such as epaderm ointment or emulsifying ointment. The effect of these does not...

Re: Found a Lump!!!
The most likely cause for this is something called a Nabothian follicle. They are very common and certainly NOT cancer. They are essentially like small blocked mucus glands and they go away on their own with time. However, without examining you it is not possible to say this for certain, so you shou...

Re: Period pains and cervical cancer.
This is a really good question, but difficult to answer. NICE has produced guidelines for what doctors should do with symptoms that are suspicious of cancer. I have put a link to them below, section 1.7 refers to gynaecological cancers. http://publications.nice.org.uk/referral-guidelines-for-suspect...
