diarrhea to constipation to both
hello! i was diagnosed with ibs-d in 2009, but also took a SeHCAT retention test then, which came out as moderate to severe malabsorption. the gastro said the scans were not diagnostic at the time, so the dx stood at ibs-d. my gp had been working as if the scan was dx and i was responding well with ...

Re: Post natal vulval and perineal states
I just found what used tho be called 'women's health' has become the 'pelvic health physiotherapy team'. I thought they had just disappeared. They were the ones who were my first confidence boost: "that's not a dent, it's a divot. Nope, that's an actual hole."

Hello! I gave birth vaginally about eleven and a half years ago. Things didn't quite go to plan and i ended up on my back and then episiotomy and grabbers... he's doing great, started upper school this year. But. My stitches didn't hold and 'repair' wasn't done until he was almost four and the first...

Re: fingernails, psoriasis?
ah, sorry if i wasn't clear. I have been diagnosed as having psoriasis, from what has been seen on both the skin ( usually my elbows, sometimes my knees) and on my nails (the mild pitting I've had before). I've never felt so unwell before (joint pains and strained tendons and muscle twists and fatig...

fingernails, psoriasis?
hello! I've been told before that when my nails were pitted it was oddly related to the scaly patches on my elbows. however, I now have lines going... parallel to the cuticle? on every nail. and pits. and in general I'm feeling worse (I'm also hypothyroid ). I've never had my nails this mangled, esp...

Re: chronic diarrhoea every time I eat a meal
thank you very much! i will consult with my gp (gastro has discharged me in frustration). Can you suggest a particular sequestrant? I've had cholestyramine, colesevelam, and colestipol. I'll work on that first, and then ask about retesting at colorectal. thanks for hanging on through the storm! kind...

Re: chronic diarrhoea every time I eat a meal
Urgle. sorry, i don't always remember everything that's happened. Before I had the biofeedback, i had a ... test... can't remember what it was called, but it was to show what the muscles were like, to see if anything had ripped or torn. I had an open episiotomy wound for about three years following ...
