Re: Pregnancy testing
Hi
Some pregnancy tests will not register that you are pregnant until 3 weeks after fertilisation, so it depends upon when you had intercourse and sperm came into contact with an egg. I would possibly leave it another few days and do another pregnancy test, but please do not get anxious.

Re: Vaginal swelling during pregnancy
Hi
It sounds like you are doing the right thing in seeing your GP tomorrow. Maybe he will prescribe you some canesten cream as this will almost certainly help with the swelling and itching.

Re: Just severe pain or something else?
Thank you for your query, Please can suggest that you go back to your GP for further investigations. There are other forms of contraception which may help with your painful periods i.e. Progesterone only methods, but maybe you need more investigations as to why your periods are so painful. It is wor...

Re: brown discharge
Hi I am assuming that this is the first time that this has happended. It may be worth while getting investigated as you may have some infection. You do not say if your discharge is smelly, but even so if this is not usual for you then it would be prudent to see your GP or Practice Nurse for some swa...

Re: Thrush,BV,repeat
I am sorry to hear about your recurrent problems. Unfortunately for whatever reason some people are more prone to this than others. Have you tried changing your washing powder and shower/bath gel to something which is non biological and unscented? Sometimes when you have a lot of antibiotics for dif...

Re: Bleeding after Menopause
Hi
It may bea good idea for you to go to your GP or Practice nurse and just get yourself checked out. They may wish to do an internal examination and take some swabs to see if you may have any infection, which may be causing the bleeding

Re: Tampons fall out/retroverted uterus.
Dear Sarah
It sounds to be like you may have a bit of a problem with your pelvic floor and that your muscles need tightening up. It may be a good idea for you to go and see you GP or Practice nurs who in the first instance can give you some exercises to do to tighten up your pelvic floor.
