I guess it depends on your definition of 'normal'! I agree, I don't think any survivor is unchanged, even though they may look the same on the outside.

I think it depends on what was causing the AF, and maybe there was a reason why your friend couldn't have warfarin.

I was 50, so way older than you! I was still the youngest in the ward by 25 years though. I went back to work after 6 months and with lots of support from my employers.
