Hiya, how terrible for you.
What have you tried so far and what does your doctor say, is she seeing a dermatologist?

Re: Help!! Severe case of Eczema
Oh Emma, I so feel for you, I can remember being in your situation and how it felt. I spent nearly 3 weeks in hospital 20 years ago and was told that there was nothing they could do for me and I'd just have to live with it so that's what I did. Then four years ago I had a particuarly bad flare up an...

Re: Scratching!!
Hi Kieran
Have you tried using wet wraps? That might help with your itching. Oh, and well done for trying not to scratch, I know only too well how hard/impossible that can be!

Hope you get some relief soon.

Re: Items for Sale
Hi Anna, what size are the baby girl's pjs? My granddaughter could really benefit from them, she's 18 months old and covered with eczema just like me and my son. Thanks.

Re: MRSA ?
Hi Anna, I agree with both answers, I would check with the doctor's or with the dermatology dept at the hospital but would definitely err on the side of caution, better safe than sorry! I'm sure your family would understand.

Re: Bathing distress
Hi Lindsfin, have you tried covering her body liberally with something like diprobase before she goes into the bath? When I have a flare up, I slap loads on before I get in the shower and find it doesn't sting as much as it would have done.

Re: Hair Dye
Thank you so much for the replies. I've been offered patch tests by hairdressers but have been a little scared that they may cause a flare up. While I can get away with it I think I'm going to go along the lines of lowlights using one of those caps, I don't know why I didn't think of that! Once agai...

Hair Dye
I've got to the point where I can't ignore the amount of grey in my hair, it's really getting me down now. I've not dared to use any hair colourant yet as I dread to think what the chemicals will do to my skin. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions as to what I might be able to try. I ...
