The pain could well be due to the diverticulitis and the ovary could have become stuck due to previous surgery or inflammation. I would have the bowel investigated first, and if surgery to the ovary is also required then perhaps a joint approach between the gynaecologist and the bowel surgeon would ...

This could be endometriosis, so perhaps an ultrasound scan in the first instance and depending on that, a referral to a gynaecologist.

Cross training would be suitable. It is difficult to cause a prolapse through exercise, a few other factors are involved, and the surgeon may have tightened up the supporting ligaments during your op. You could of course continue to do pelvic floor exercises as well.

Uterine artery embolization is another option. Endometrial ablation does not usually make the problem worse, but it's benefits may only last 18 months sometimes.

Your symptoms may be due to lack of estrogen. You could try estrogen replacement - a patch might work, or another option is livial, a slightly different type of HRT....
