Re: Can foods help in improving mental health ?

Healthy food helps the brain and body in all ways. Therefore food CAN help mental health.

But when dealing with mental health, food is just one part of it: but it is still highly valid and important someone does eat the right foods.

Re: Does stress cause dementia?

The problem with dealing with stress is it doesn't go away: you can reduce it, but life will always be stressful: therefore reducing stress is not so easy. Having a holiday reduces stress for a short while, but when real life returns, it is there again. I don't see how stress can be dealt with: say ...

But depression is a psychiatric illness and more complex, therefore treatments are more complex than simply having enough sleep. Therapy has been known to successfully treat mild depression but with more serious d...

Re: Persistent headache

I'm no expert, but a persistent headache could be a sign of something more serious. There have been cases where a person has a brain tumour BUT not always. However, it is still best to see your doctor. I definitely won't scare anybody that they have a brain tumour but a persistent headache could be ...

Re: Rash on hands

I get a similar rash on my hands when I've been exposed to bleach. Are you using any chemicals or had contact with something that has had chemicals used on? Because your rash looks like you're allergic to some kind of chemical. I don't know where you're working, but whatever you are being exposed to...

Except in extreme cases, these tips will vastly help others.

Re: Question about congestion

Patricia96: I am glad you've mentioned the dangers of long term nasal spray use: I hadn't realized. I don't really know what advice to offer, but what you're going through, Patricia96, I sympathise with. And I hope people take stock from your post: because you have the experience in which to advise ...
