Acne
My son is 13 and just developing spots – not sure if you would term this as acne… His father had acne when he was young and I am concerned that he might also develop this. My son is very reluctant to talk about it, let alone see a doctor but I managed to get him to the doctor who just said its his a...

Infant Eczema
Hi, my 14 month old has been diagnosed with eczema and I'm currently in the process of trying to find certain triggers in the hope that it will reduce the occurrence of flare ups. Really hoping this is successful! But I was just wondering what's the best way of treating eczema in a baby? Are there c...

Heat Rash
How can you tell the difference between a heat rash and something else such as a meningitis rash or measles rash for example? Thanks (Natalie)

Is ED linked with heart problems/diabetes?
I have read that ED is linked to heart problems and diabetes. Is this true? If so, will I be tested for these conditions when I visit my doctor? Thanks (Peter)

Unable to keep erection
I can get an erection but then I can't keep it. I really don’t want to go to the doctor to discuss with anyone as I'm too embarrassed, but I need to find a solution. Please help (Mike)

Hair thinning with age
I've always had quite thick hair, and never experienced hair loss/thinning before, but since turning 70 I've certainly noticed my hair has got a lot thinner and finer. I suppose it is just a symptom of the aging process but is there anything I can do to help with this? Thank you (Christine)

Post-COVID hair loss
I had covid a few months ago and have noticed my hair falling out - I have looked this up as a common symptom but can't see what I should be doing about it or is just wait for it to come back?

How can I help my son's sensitive skin?
My son (14) cannot dry his legs with any sort of towel (cotton or microfibre) and has to drip dry otherwise the skin on his legs becomes really painful, itchy and stings, so much so that he’s in tears for two hours afterwards. The same feeling occurs when he wears football socks or chinos but seems ...

Molluscum contagiosum
My 9 year old granddaughter has been diagnosed with this and its been spreading for a few months now. Her doctor said that it would go away on its own and hasn't prescribed anything to ease this. Apparently, a few more children in her class have the same condition. She has been to a few play dates a...

Lack of sleep
I am going through a period of not sleeping well and when I count up the hours I sleep per night (and mostly interrupted) it is only between 5 and half to six hours maximum. Everything I have read has said you should have 7 to 8 hours. At the moment I feel fine although slightly stressed that my nor...
