Multi Chemical Sensitivity MCS
I have been reading about Multi Chemical Sensitivity. Interesting. Lots of people are now allergic to all sorts of chemicals in the environment. Everyday household items such as washing powders and perfumes in products too. I am experimenting with an eco friendly household cleaning brand to see if t...

Re: Comments needed - What does your itch feel like?
ice cubes help. when it gets too much. I grab an ice cube and press to the skin where the itch is burning. the itch starts to subside. It will start again if I accidently touch that area. That is the Bitch of it. over and over and over again.

Re: Swimming
I'm with the vaseline option. I apply thick layers over my raw bits and I still get to enjoy the swimming without my skin suffering. But don't leave the vaseline on my skin, because when I get into warmer temperatures my skin heats up and the vaseline turns up the heat and I need SCRATCH  All ...

Re: Face Eczema
Thanks for the tip. I looked up Pure Chimp Cream and couldn't find a conclusive INCI ingredients list. It does say what some ingredients are, but I like to look at ALL the ingredients, and where these ingredients lie in the ingredients list. Is it a heavy cream, is it a light cream? My skin burns so...

Re: Epaderm contains Sodium Lauryl Sulfate?
There was a BIG scandal with Aqueous Cream containing SLS a few years ago. People were using it as a moisturiser instead of a cream shower wash/doctors mis-prescribing it, not understanding the ingredients. People were leaving this moisturiser on the skin. You can imagine the horror. Detergent eatin...

A NEW TRICK
Hello fellow Eczema people. I bought a new product after picking up a few tips about using it after steroids. I read this info on a very helpful eczema site, and it made so much sense :D This is the basic overview: Using steroids heals the upper skin and crusts it over. This healing part is fab, BUT...

Re: One way I found to lessen effects of acute eczema
Discharge from the eyes? Sounds like perfumes are affecting him? Washing Powders, house cleaning products, general toiletries contain nasty artificial perfumes. It is great news if avoiding the tap water helps. Just sounded familiar? The eyes, I also had discharging from nose, sore sinus and cough a...
