Sun screen and tanning cream
I have vitiligo over a number of areas but most visible on the back of my hands. I know I need to use sun screen. I also use a tanning cream so that my vitiligo does not look so stark. My question is should the sun screen go over or under a tanning cream. Which is the most effective protection. Or indeed does a sun screen not work if mixed with a tanning cream.
I look forward to advice on this matter.

Re: Sun screen and tanning cream
Hello,
From a skin camouflage point of view you can use sunscreen over the camouflage creams as long as its not oil based...a spray often works well. Alternatively you can use a sunscreen underneath. The skin camouflage creams have a degree of sun protection, but additional protection is strongly recommended.
In our clinics we advise patients to use SPF's 50 with a light formulation that's easily absorbed thus avoiding the camouflage cream from slipping. If you would like to try some samples along side your other products please let me know.
All the best
