My 2 year old son has chicken pox my daughter has just had them too but his are much worse his whole back torso and groin area is covered in worried his skin will be scarred as I have scars on my back from when I had chicken pox as a child is there anything I can do to prevent scarring ?

Thank you for your question. I am afraid there is no specific treatment available but at his age scars usually improve a lot spontaneously within a year or so.
