Is nickel in food a trigger for rosacea?
I suffer with red skin over 40 years that flushes in this weather due to mostly temperature and hormone changes internally and externally. I recently read an interesting article as i have a nickel allergy also that certain foods contain nickel and this can trigger skin problems. Skin care is a nightmare due to so many dermatologically tested creams causing immediate redness. I just have to learn to manage it myself as never yet received proper support anywhere..

Thank you very much for your question. I am not aware that nickel in food can cause red face rosacea. However there is now an effective treatment for red face and flushing rosacea - Mirvaso gel. Your dermatologist can prescribe this for you.
I hope this is helpful.
