Both are important. Diet dominate weight loss also puts the focus on deprivation from food, instead of the growth and increase in strength and endurance that comes with exercise. Exercise increases self efficacy and confidence, which in turn can increase the likelihood that a person makes smart food choices.
i would like to say , you can't lose weight with diet alone, also have to do exercise because it plays an important role in losing weight. If you don't like hard workout you can follow simple ways to lose weight included ,running ,walking ,yoga ,jumping on trampoline etc.
