Has anyone tried Spinal Cord Stimulation?

Has anyone tried spinal cord stimulation for pain relief? I've had a bit of a Google and wondered if anyone here has any feedback on how it has worked. It looks pretty intrusive - but the results seem promising!

Acquisto, I am sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. I've been told similar - in that it works for most people but it isn't always suited to everyone. Did you have a wireless remote, or did you have a wired system?

I am on the NHS pathway for the spinal cord stimulation treatment and although it'll be a long road ahead, I am definitely excited. I hope it'll be better than having biannual surgery and fingers crossed, I'll be ok!
