Guttate Psoriasis and Biologics
Hi All:
I came down with GP about 2 years ago at the age of 43. I attribute the onset to a number of factors including stress and someone having strep in the office (although I had no physical manifestations of having contracted strep). I have been receiving NB-UVB and use topical ointments (Clobex, Talconex, protopic) as sparingly as I could. My GP has never gone into remission. It comes back a few months after I stop the light treatments. I was hoping that GP goes away and stays dormant until it is triggered by infections? I'm thinking of going on a Biologic for a year so that may be I can force my immune system to calm down. I appreciate your thoughts on this. Does anyone with GP have experience with Biologics?
