Leaking problems after childbirth

Leaking problems after childbirth
I'm having very embarassing problems after my most recent childbirth. During childbirth two years ago I had a retained placenta due to scarring from my previous stillborn. I had to go to surgery to get the placenta removed under general anaesthetic. Since then I have been having problems leaking fluid. Whenever I run or jump fluid will leak. Its very embarassing and causes me to avoid certain situations. Its beginning to really get me down and I was wondering what can be done.

Its really unlikely to be from your uterus, and more likely to be from your bladder - I would ask for a referall to a urogynaecologist

While waiting to see a urogynaecologist, it is worth doing pelvic floor exercises. Often a physiotherapist's input is really helpful. Sometimes for this problem, surgery is required but this is treatable. It can be hugley embarrassing but you don't have to put up with it. See more info at www.bladdermatters.co.uk
