STD Prevention Question
I met a woman in Japan and she told me she is a transexual and didn’t want me to freak out if we got physical. I was surprised, but I respect her honesty and asked for a day or two to think about it. I do want to be intimate with her (she could pass for a regular female model), but I want to be safe. Obviously, if there was any sex we would use protection, but I am more concerned about unprotected oral sex both ways and risks for hiv or other std’s. I read a lot online and there doesn’t seem to be a clear answer about any increased risk. Does anyone have any idea of the likelihood of std’s in this situation?
One other quick note is that I read in Japan that it is apparently common for transexual women to work in fashion health spas which allow sex because the cost of hormones is so high (I speak and read Japanese). I will obvious ask if she does, but would that raise or lower risks because apparently those places require monthly or at least every other month testing, but oral is not always protected according to what I read.
