9 year old. Is it eczema?!
Hi all,
Really hoping for some clarification if possible and advice. My daughter did have a number of eczema flare ups at the age of 3/4 years. This were not particularly severe and occurred in the crease of her arm and seemed to flare when she was hot. She is naturally a warm child. She sweats quite a lot generally if it’s warm and goes very red and sweaty after any exercise. Over the last 3 years she has when on holiday abroad developed a very red face which then cracks and becomes very very sore and tight. This year we went to Greece and after the first time in the pool she was crying and in a lot of discomfort and pain. This is again just on the face?! Her face became very sore and infected. We are now back from a New year break in Italy (weather was very cold on one particular day). Now home her face is hot and she says feels tight again. Her face is red her cheeks are hot to touch and she complains that she feels really warm on he face. Is this eczema???

I understand your concerns about warm body temperature.
Because I realized before that the causes of my acne is what they say stress, but these stress causes our body to produce heat....and so to relieve myself from acne breakouts and other skin problems or pimples...i keep my body cold to lower my temperature....like eat something cold....do anything to lower your body temperature so as not to trigger any skin problems. I hope somehow this helps.

Sorry to hear that and not sure if this article is of help

I do think that it warrant a visit to the doctor though.. especially if there's potentially a severe reaction to some trigger which would be prudent to find out what the trigger is to take preventive measures.. take care, hugs
