Benefits of saline soak in removing eczema

I have been soaking my face with a wash cloth soaked in salt water to treat my eczema and I think it is working...no chemicals just salt and warm water and let it sit on my face for about 15 minutes. Has anybody else tried this or can someone else confirm/deny the benefits of saltwater soaking?
