Huge flare up caused by nut allergy

So basically I'm slowly losing the will to live. I've had eczema for a while now and generally it flares up and down all the time. But last week i accidentally ate something containing nuts and went into a huge flare. Topical steroids and emollients weren't working.I ended up taking three different kinds of antihistamines and a five day course of oral steroids. However they finished yesterday and i am still flaring up- my face, back arms, hands, shoulders, stomach, legs. In a lot of pain and feel incredibly hot- almost like i have a temperature hot it feels like its radiating from inside of me- i am having heat sweats when just sitting still.
I have a fan on me constantly as well as cooling strips and only wear cotton clothes but its still very bad.
Can anyone suggest what this could be, is this normal??

Hi Ellsaroo,

So sorry to hear of what you're going through, if you are having fever, and there're signs of skin infection, it'd be prudent to go to emergency care particularly as you've been struggling with it for days. Infection can be serious for people with eczema as it can progress from skin to general.. take care.
