Desperate for help
I‘ve been living with this condition as a young child, ever since I was born, said my parents
Up to three years old, I only had them on my feet, so it itched terribly, and ticklede when I scratched it.
Then it spreaded to the opposite side of my elbows, my neck, and the opposite side of my knees.(I hope this makes sense) okay, cool. I lived with it.
Recently, though, it spreaded to my hands, my fingers, my wrists, my thighs, and even to my belly. It‘s getting really bad, red, flaky, ithy, and it has these little bump like things, sort of.
I know a part of it is becahse of pet dander, and I have two dogs. But, no, I'm not giving awag my dogs. I rather itch to death then give them away, and I really don't believe theyre the only reason why I have mh eczema flare ups.
Can anyone help, or any advice? I've been using ice to numb the itchiness away, but otherwise I really don't know what to do now!

Sorry to hear! 1st thing, allergy test? pet dander is one of the standard item in a skin prick test and if you are tested not allergic to it, then you can stop thinking it's because of your dogs
If it is, really giving them away is safest. Otherwise, since dog dander is heavier than cat dander, if you shower them outside of your home and groom them weekly, it may help.
2nd thing, other triggers? you can find out via allergy test as well. Then moisturize after shower, keep bacteria count low, creams for flare-up, wet wrap at night...hope some of these can help..take care!
