Atopic Dermatitis
Hi all,
I am really hoping for an answer from a medical proffessional or someone who is suffering from atopic dermatitis...So a brief overview - I have always suffered from eczema but it has become extremely severe for the past 18 months. It became very severe around the time I met my partner, with flare ups becoming extreme during high-stress situations. My skin calmed down around 3 months ago but had another really bad flare up around 6 weeks ago - the only change had been my partner had quit smoking and had restarted about 6 or 7 weeks ago on the quiet. Could his smoking be the cause of my AD? Has anyone else had this reaction to smoke?

Hi KerryH25
Thank you for your post. Hopefully some of our members will be able to advise you. Have you been to your GP to see what they think about the possibility of cigarette smoke affecting your AD?
Do please let us know how you get on.
Kind regards
