painful urethra

Hello,

Been having pain in my urethra for a few months. The only relief seems to be at night, starts right after my first urination of the day. Every now and then the goes away for days but always comes back. Have ruled out UITs and STDs. Blood work is normal, finally had a scope and was told everything looks normal (urethra, prostate and bladder) wondering if anybody else has ever experienced anything like this? Not diabetic, weight is right where it should be, don't smoke, rarely drink.

Re: painful urethra

A painful urethra, often referred to as urethritis, can be caused by various factors including infections, irritants, or injuries. The urethra is the tube that carries urine out of the body.
