Will my symptoms stay mild?
On behalf of our guest visitor, Vivienne:
I’ve just been diagnosed with Lupus, my symptoms so far have been fairly mild, are they likely to stay this way? If they get worse what symptoms can I expect to experience during a flare up?

Hi Vivienne,
Thanks for your post. I'm glad to hear your arthritis is well controlled at the moment. It's not going to be possible to know what a flare might mean to an individual - because people's experiences are unique. But you might begin by remembering how you were feeling when you went to get diagnosed. The aim of taking your treatment and looking after your diet, your general health, stress levels and so on, is to keep your immune system in good order.
If you want some guidance on preventative health, you might discuss this with your rheumatology nurse or GP, or an organisation such as Lupus UK.
I hope that's Helpful
