Does cancer run in families /hereditary ?

Hi team,

My maternal aunts has been diagnosed with breast & throat cancer. Would like to know what are the chances of cancer being hereditary ?

Also, I have Ezcema and it seems to be very bad on my ears. Does this going to make a affect in the long run ?

Hi there,
Sorry to hear that there is alot of cancer in your family.
Certain types of breast cancer are associated with an increased of skin cancer and if you have moles, it might be worthwhile seeing your GP or a dermatologist.
Regarding your eczema, I do think you need to see your GP to explore potential causes and treatments.
