rich emollient used in the management of eczema, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions.

Hey guys

At the moment my skin is still good, I used a weaker cream on my arms yesterday to reduce the amount of strong steroid that my skin is battered with, then moved back up to the strong cream today, so I may keep doing this and slowly elongating the amount of days I use the weaker cream so I can slowly move away from the really strong cream without my skin going ballistic! Also, I haven’t mentioned before that I only use steroid creams on my legs when I get out of the shower, every other day I just moisturize them because I don’t want too many steroids going into my body all the time!

I just finished my first “raw” steak! It wasn’t completely raw, my mother cooked it for 3 minutes each side and the meat was nice and pink on the inside, it was also seasoned with a bit of salt and pepper, and it was the BEST steak I have ever had! My parents agree too! It was possibly the most perfect steak that has ever been cooked, amazing!
The meat we used was organic, which means that the animal was fed grass and not crappy fake food so they can be fattened up, which makes the meat all the more delicious!

So the raw diet is going really well, even though it’s not completely raw yet because I still cook things a bit, it’s more raw than ever! I must say I do feel a bit weird after eating that steak, and I can taste blood in my mouth a bit but it’s so worth it for that delicious steak! I had raw vegetables with the steak and I’m planning on making my favorite Paleo snack: Banana pancakes! The most delicious snack I’m eating at the moment!

Hope everyone is feeling great,

Brooke x

    Morning Brooke

Just checking in to see how you’re doing today. My evening was eventful but thankfully due to the change in weather things are starting to calm down a little. However I do feel that I need botox or something to reduce the look of exhaustion on my face!!!! I think that people forget that for us carers with little ones we also take the brunt end of the trauma, I dont suffer with extreme eczema but my goodness the ageing process is hitting me hard – haha.

So how is the raw food going girl? I can’t imagine your level of dedication – I often forget to eat with Issi-May requiring such alot of attention.

Thinking of you and all fellowing sufferers out there.

Anna – still hitting the coffee and working hard at it.

    Hi Anna 🙂
I’ve posted a new blog post on my blog explaining my day 😀 I know how you feel about exhaustion! I don’t have any heavy responsibilities like a child in my life, but in college I’m applying for universities at the moment and everything is crazy stressful!
The diet is going good, it’s taking a lot of strength to walk past the vending machines in college and not buy every chocolate in there! But it’s getting there 🙂
