Oooh – these bad boys were hard to resist!

My other half sat next to me eating them in the harbour at Mallaig! However, I had already dealt with my fish’n’chip rage after some plonker stood right next to me with his tray whilst I was trying to have a quiet moment. All I could smell was the vinegar and it was immense…I wanted to bury his face in the tray and kind of smoosh it around – just like a clown does with a custard pie! ;-)

I actually now smell just like those chips did after dropping a bottle of vinegar which drenched me…I love it when stuff like this happens…my karma for thinking horrid thoughts about that chap!

So the cable cars eluded me once again. They were closed due to adverse conditions, so we took a scenic drive to Mallaig and mooched on a lovely beach for a while…

20131002-183409.jpgYou can probably spot my little dog who behaves like a puppy when she is on this beach! She was racing around so much – and is now crashed out, snoring!

After our beach jaunt we headed into Malliag and I could almost hear my bank manager crying…I spent a bit more money! There is an excellent little place there and I picked up some lovely stuff. Here is today’s haul…

20131002-183937.jpgThe blue woolly hat was from a little wooden shack at the end of a scary-assed drive to a place called Pollach.

20131002-185532.jpgIt is in the middle of nowhere, with incredibly steep hills…Freddie Freelander’s brakes were seriously tested today. I wanted to look in the shop, which the lady leaves unmanned. She has made a few knitted items and stuff from slate – really sweet little bits. Although I have major issues with wool and cannot have the scratchy-arsed itchy stuff anywhere near me – thankfully, this wasn’t the scratchy-arsed variety! ;-) On the way back, I also found a little pottery in Strontian and picked up a couple of pony pottery items…you can see why my bank manager might be crying.

Whilst we were in Pollach, my other half and I went for a little walk…up another fecking hill. He was pretty emosh over it actually. Obviously last year I couldn’t get out there and do anything, and he really wanted me to go on a walk there as the scenery and peacefulness is amazing.

20131002-193815.jpgHe had a little tear in his eye – bless him! We held hands whilst walking – and no, it wasn’t a sneaky move on my part so that he could drag me up the hill! ;-) It was as close to a public display of affection as I will get though!

Oh – and this was my view whilst eating lunch today…

20131002-185831.jpgI am so going to hate coming home…and if it weren’t for family and my horses, I would be tempted not to come back! :-)

Right then – that’s pretty much it for today. I did have a few ‘moments’ whilst out in Mallaig today. There were quite a lot of people milling around and a few people looked at me for longer than I would have liked. Rather than getting stressed about it, I just held my head up high…and at one point I stretched right out on a bench with my hands behind my head – you cannot get a better pose than this from a body-language perspective…it screams ‘look at me!’ and is a bit of an alpha pose – I am faking it until I make it! I also threw a tantrum when I couldn’t find a decent parking space. I didn’t want to be around people if I was hot and bothered…mainly because I am a bitch when I feel like that, and also because I didn’t want them to be looking at the sweaty fat lass. I told Mum and my other half to just leave me alone and that I was going to stay in the car…I got over myself eventually though and enjoyed being out there. There are still many demons to deal with – but I am facing them!

My Mum read lasts nights blog and relented…here is the bag she bought for me…

20131002-194410.jpgAnd my other half also treated me – yes, I am spoilt madam on this holiday…but I am worth it! This is my other beauty!

20131002-194516.jpgIt feels weird to be able to go and show people what I like, and to be able to go and buy stuff in shops – actual proper shops! I am dreading checking my bank statement…but I haven’t been able to do this for such a long time – I am like a kid in a sweet shop…which probably isn’t the most suitable choice of words for an obese lass! ;-)

We are currently trying to decide what to do tomorrow – we could head to Mull on the ferry, or drive up to Loch Ness and a lovely place called Fort Augustus…watch this space!

Breakfast: Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with figs and tomato.

20131002-181700.jpgLunch: Smoked venison sandwiches (2 x HEB) with fruit and smoked cheese (2 x HEA).

20131002-182212.jpgDinner: Smokey chicken stew.

20131002-191725.jpgAnother epic food day. It started off a little tentatively with me making brekkie…I was convinced that figs and smoked salmon would be good, and they were ace! The sweetness of the figs contrasted nicely with the saltiness of the salmon. And the eggs and tomato made a good combo. Lunch was delicious too – smoked venison, which tasted amazing. Dinner was gorgeous – smoked chicken with loads of superfree veggies – tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, green beans, courgette, pepper, carrots, spinach, garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, herb and chicken stock pots, Worcester sauce and pepper…a Mum concoction and it was good, very good…more than one bowl good! :-)

Exercise: Walking and mooching and shopping – over 30 minutes.

Thank you for reading – I hope that your week is going well!

Weight Loss Bitch xxx

WeightLossBitch

On a health and fitness driven journey to lose over 32st / 448lbs / 203kgs – yes, it is a considerable amount – I am committed to losing my excess weight without the aid of weight loss surgery, diet pills, or quick fixes…as there aren’t any! Changing my eating habits and building up my fitness levels, along with addressing the ‘head issues’ will be crucial in order for me to achieve my goal. Living in England as a 31 year old super morbidly obese woman can be challenging to say the least. I have been shouted at in the street and verbally abused far too many times to mention; hence the name ‘Weight Loss Bitch’…the day I am just called a ‘bitch’ instead of a ‘fat bitch’ will be the day that I know I have cracked my weight loss! With many reasons to lose this weight I am documenting my journey for a number of reasons. Firstly, I would like to keep a record of the ups and downs, the highs and lows, and the challenges I face with such an enormous task to tackle. Secondly, I would also like to inspire and encourage other people who are in a similar situation and to show them that significant amounts of weight can be lost naturally…with a bit of motivation, hard work, dedication and will power. Thirdly, all of the blogging, Facebook-ing, Tweet-ing, Pinterest-ing and YouTube-ing keeps me occupied and keeps my fingers out of the fridge!
