As usual we’ve been busy in the talkhealth office.

Last week our online clinic on skin conditions opened, and on the day of the opening we ran a Twitter chat all about sensitive skin which kick-started the conversation amongst people living with skin problems. Lots of questions were asked and answered by our experts who worked really hard, providing some great information and feedback.

On Sunday, Deborah ran the Bristol Half Marathon raising money for Fighting Strokes in memory of her Mum who sadly died in September 2013 from a stroke. Without enough preparation due to a flu-type cold she inflicted on the office for oBristol Half Marathon Medalver two weeks, Deborah finished the race in 2 hours 24 minutes and 23 seconds. Her partner, who’s training for an Ultra Marathon (you can read his blog Ultra Bonkers here), also ran Bristol Half finishing in 1 hour 49 minutes and 17 seconds, beating his course record. It was a great day, although Deborah now has another cold in preparation for her next run, Basingtoke Half Marathon a week on Sunday!

In other news Rosy, our Charity Ambassador, is expecting a baby! How exciting – a talkhealth baby on the way! As the weeks and months pass by, we very much look forward to seeing Rosy’s bump getting bigger!

We have been busy adding lots of new freebies and information to the talkhealth  website and planning our next online clinic on stress and anxiety at work. Our next enewsletter is due out next week too, so if you’d like to receive a copy full of all the latest news, register for free here.

As Friday afternoon whizzes by, we hope you all have a great weekend – more from the talkhealth office very soon!
