Dr Dinkar Bakshi
Dinkar Bakshi is a consultant in child health & allergy. He qualified in medicine in 1996, trained in paediatrics in the London Deanery, completed an MSc in Allergy at Imperial College London and was appointed to an NHS Consultant post in 2012. He was previously the clinical lead for paediatric allergy at Nottingham University Hospitals Trust and Honorary Consultant in Paediatric Allergy at Imperial College London. He is currently the Secretary of the East Midlands Paediatric Allergy Group and Editor of the Online Journal of Clinical Audits.
Dr Bakshi consults on all acute and chronic medical problems in children including food allergies, eczema, hay fever, abdominal pain, constipation, bed wetting, seizures, migraine, joint pains, nutritional disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, anxiety and palpitations. He also offers all childhood vaccines and oral immunotherapy for hay fever, house dust mite and domestic pets in clinic.
Dr Bakshi is a fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health (FRCPCH) and an accredited examiner for the Diploma in Child Health(DCH). Dr Bakshi has participated in many clinical trials, published extensively in peer reviewed indexed journals and presented in many international conferences. He is frequently invited to deliver talks at medical conferences on topics like cows’ milk protein allergy, wheat intolerance and eczema management in children.
