Toe nails and psoriasis

I suffer from pustular psoriasis occasionally. Recently I've had bleeding under my big toenails, turning the nails a dark purple.
My toes have not been injured. Is this linked to psoriasis and do I need to see my doctor?
Thank you.

Re: Toe nails and psoriasis

Thank you for your question, it is possible to occasionally bleed under the nails if you have psoriatic nail disease and pustular psoriasis of the nails, however it would be advisable to show this to your doctor to be checked particularly as there is no history of trauma
