Womb abration and the menopause
I am 48 years old had womb abration 6 years ago to help heavy bleeding. worked well, just have a 2 day dribble each month now, question is will i just go into menopause less often periods etc, not heard what happens after having an abration.still regular periods.

As you've had an endometrial ablation but still get slight 2 day spotting bleeds - i.e. you've had removal of most but not absolutely all of the womb lining - you probably won't get the irregular & variably heavier bleeds that some women get in the run up to menopause. So you can reasonably expect to get some longer gaps between bleeds & sporadically lighter loss before your periods stop altogether, or they might simply cease without obvious warning.
What you can expect to experience is a series of other symptoms - most notably night sweats / daytime hot flushes and a lack of regular cyclical breast tenderness and/or premenstrual mood change - which will signal the onset of menopause.
