Tell him to try different foods and figure out which foods are easily digestive with no problems. Any disease the body has is battled by white blood cells in the blood. I think in the meantime he should eat soups and drink smoothies. At least until he sees a doctor for more help.

There's no known cure for IBS. It is a long haul in managing the bowel condition. It can be managed with medication - like Imodium and Colpermin - and dietary changes. This could be avoiding trigger foods like wheat or dairy or too much fibre-rich food. In fact, too much fibre can worsen IBS so you don't want to go down that route.advhccenter wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 10:59 amOutline. Keep a food diary and note how it affects you physically. Once you get to know what your body does and does not like you'll be much better.

Everybody's gut propensities are unique, and transitory changes are normally nothing to stress over. In any case, persevering or extreme changes can show a fundamental medical condition, particularly when extra side effects happen.
