How to spot signs of Tracey Emin's bladder cancer
One of Britain’s most formidable artistic talents, Tracey Emin, recently revealed the fact that she’s living with bladder cancer. A squamous cell tumour was found last spring and the artist, 57, had surgery to remove it two months ago.
Squamous cell cancers are rapid and aggressive - ‘it’s known as bad cancer,’ in Tracey’s own words.
Bladder cancer is way more common than you might think, with around 10,000 Brits being diagnosed with it every year. It’s the tenth most common cancer in the UK and tends to occur later in life.
